Welcome to LADA Dance Academy!
We’re a dance school that pride ourself in positive, chilled and fun dance classes.
Our aim is to provide a service accessible to anyone, regardless of ability!
Our classes start at £4 a session! And are taught in school year classes. This is because dancing with your friends is so much fun! But also gives the opportunity to meet more people your age and make friends for life!
We teach a range of dance styles, that isn’t ballet or tap! From Street dance to contemporary, hiphop to jazz and musical theatre… There’s something for everyone!
Throughout the year, we access opportunities to perform in shows and also to partake in workshops with professional dance companies and choreographers. We partner closely with companies such as Swindon Dance Centre of Advanced Training, who offer an extended level of training to young people.
Our students have performed on West end stages and having once left us, continued onto dancing in the top dance schools in the country. LIPA, Urdang, The Brit School and Performers College just to name a few!

principal- Darcy Ahern
At 17 years old, Darcy took on her biggest challenge yet. In the middle of her Alevels and a global pandemic she also decided to take on a dance school... and what a mad 3 years it has been!
Now 20, she fills her classes every week with hard working and dedicated young people. With her knowledge of understanding of dance and love for what she does, she inspires kids daily to work hard but dream harder. Her aim is for every child to walk out the studio doors at the end of a lesson with a smile on their face, knowing that they have tried their best and it is appreciated, but they also know that their best is good enough.
